- Territorial Regeneration and Cooperation for Cross-border Governance

The RiCoNET project sets out to strengthen cross-border governance on issues of territorial redevelopment and regeneration, by comparing applied methodologies in the two territorial contexts. Specific Toolkits will be defined, to support public authorities, which may be used to respond to the lack of Italian and regional legislation that poses an ongoing problem.

AREAS OF INTEREST

- The Sacred Mountains: shared heritage of values, laboratory for sustainable preservation and improved use of cultural heritage for tourism

MAIN10ANCE is an ambitious project of research, education, promotion and information that looks at cultural heritage from a new perspective in order to learn from symbolic locations of our country and history, combining traditional and innovative technical solutions to forge best practices in management, conservation and maintenance.

- Preventing Crime Respecting Fundamental Rights

The project is designed to create a network for the study and diffusion of tools for crime prevention, with particular emphasis on organised crime and solutions offered by recent European legislation.

The network includes the University of Mannheim (Germany), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Porto (Portugal).

Prevention measures, veering between penal law (substantive and trial) and administrative regulations, are deft tools, although less reliable than a criminal trial, able to strike the financial interests of organised criminal networks.

Centro Interateneo di studi per la pace

Centro Interateneo di Studi per la Pace CISP which brings together the University of Eastern Piedmont, the University of Turin and the Polytechnic University of Turin, aims to encourage the meeting of scholars and scholars who differ in their cultural background and scientific approach, but who share an interest in peace studies. At the same time, CISP aims to consolidate the dialogue between the university world and a network of actors and associations that cultivate such studies outside the strictly academic environment.
