The Università del Piemonte Orientale aims at enhancement and development of the territory through promotion and transfer of knowledge in order to strengthen relations between the worlds of research and business.

UPO’s commitment has been confirmed through various initiatives over the years: the University is a joint sponsor of the Business Incubator of Novara - “Enne3” – and participates in the project “Accelerator of Innovative Business Ideas” - AI3 as well as being a member of key associations for the promotion of technology transfer:

• NetVal - Network for promotion of university-based research
• PNIcube - Portal of University Incubators
• ProTon Europe - Innovation from Public Research
