Please follow the following instructions regarding the State Exam for licence to practise the professions of Chartered Accountant or Accounting Expert.

Exemption from first written test

Candidates are exempt from the first written test if they have a qualification in one of the degree courses set up in partnership between the regional Institutes and universities, as part of an agreement between the MIUR and National Institute of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts.

For graduates from the Università del Piemonte Orientale:

An agreement between the UPO and Institute of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts in Novara, Alessandria, Biella, Verbania and Vercelli recognises exemption from the first written test for graduates of Bacherlor’s and Master’s degrees in one of the following programmes:

• course title L 18 (undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Economics)
• course title L 33 (undergraduate degrees in Economics)
• course title LM 77 (Master’s degrees in Business Economics)
• course title LM 56 (Master’s degrees in Economics)

who are in possession of all requisites (see the attached Agreement).

Graduates from other universities

Exemption is recognised on the basis of certification from the awarding university that the candidates have completed a qualification in one of the undergraduate or Master’s programmes listed in the agreement between the regional Institutes and awarding university, thus resulting as being in possession of the academic credits required by the Agreement.

How to register for exemption

If you are a UPO graduate, submit the relevant application form to the Student Services Office, declaring your fulfilment of all requisites, along with the exam registration form (see the Exemption Form attached).

If you graduated from another university, you should submit the same application form. In this case, we will take into account the regulations in the agreement between your awarding university with the regional Institute in question. Our offices will contact your university for confirmation of your eligibility/qualifications. Please note that this confirmation must arrive before the beginning of the exam session.

Declaration of internship (for all candidates)

At the time of registration, you should submit a declaration of internships carried out (see Internship form attached) together with the documentation.
