- Advanced therapies experiences

Six parters (5 Italian and 1 from Ticino), working in the field of research and development of medtech and biotech, will develop a new knowledge platform during the 3-year project, to transform brilliant ideas into advanced products for the treatment of various chronic diseases.

ATEx will offer a means to put online all the existing skills, promote development of new solutions, identify external partners who can deal with regulatory and funding aspects, and transfer such knowledge in a systematic and organic manner to the market.

- Microvesicles at the INtersection between Dysbiosis and Major dEpression disorder: an OMIC approach (MIND-ME)

Major Depression Disorder (MDD) is a condition characterised by deep and ongoing feelings of profound sadness or despair.

There is an urgent need to find new tools that can predict the response to therapeutic treatment of psychiatric disorders. This is due to the fact that, unlike other medical specialties, no reliable biomarkers have yet been identified in psychiatry that can help doctors provide the correct diagnosis and monitor treatment response.

- Network Of practitioners For Emergency medicAl systems and cRitical care

NO-FEAR is a Horizon 2020 project aimed at constructing a consolidated network of European professionals in the field of Emergency Medical Systems, facilitating interaction between health, science and industry professionals.

Faced with new threats (chemical and biological weapons, terrorism, pandemics) yet lacking a strong and coordinated network of pan-European professionals, the consortium attempts to bring together a range of skills/competences, in order to respond to increasingly urgent issues in the European context.
