Guidelines

We declare and pursue appropriate policies for the Third Mission, we monitor how they are implemented, and we follow protocols to ensure their quality.

To do this in the best possible way, we have equipped ourselves since the end of 2022 with Guidelines that define the fields of action, subjects, bodies, processes and evaluation of the Third Mission.

All individuals in structured teaching and research roles (full and associate professors, researchers, research fellows and PhD students) are required to carry out (collectively or individually) Third Mission activities, preferably linked to their own lines of scientific research. The technical-administrative-librarian staff, students and scholarship holders are strongly involved.

The Department is the referential structure for planning and implementation of the activity, but the University, at a centralised level, can also organise initiatives that embody the social potential of the UPO as a whole.
