The Work Programmes (WP) contain the Calls for proposals, arranged in various topics with relative deadlines; by responding to these, it is possible to submit project proposals for consideration.

The WPs of Horizon Europe are currently being prepared and contain the Calls for the next 4 years (2021-2024).

The structure and wording will be slightly different from the Horizon 2020 Call: for the Pillar II, every Cluster will be structured in a number of Destinations, which respond to the political objectives and strategic approaches (KSOs) established in the Strategic Plan. For each Destination, the Expected Impacts will be outlined, leading to Expected Outcomes, for each Topic (Call). In response to the Topics it will be possible to send project proposals that, with their findings, must contribute to the Expected Outcomes of the individual Topic and, from a longer-term perspective, to the Expected Impacts of the Destination.
