The third edition of “CLAIM” returns to the Ossola valleys, thanks also to "Orientaday": the event organised by IIS “Marconi Galletti Einaudi” and the lyceum “G. Spezia” of Domodossola, in which our University participates.

The University of Eastern Piedmont and the Unione Montana delle Valli del l’Ossola announce the third edition of the project «Claim. Contamination Lab Aree Interne Montane» (Contamination Lab of intermountain regions).

The two bodies signed a Convention and implementation agreement to carry out (over three academic years: 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24) initiatives, projects, orientation events and advanced training courses aimed at students, local administrators, people engaged in the third sector, young people looking for employment, and people wishing to update or specialise in their field.

The common goals are:

  • direct students towards university studies and contain student migration
  • attract students by offering innovative training courses
  • develop research activities on topics of local interest

Again, for the academic year 2023-24, specialised training and orientation activities are scheduled.

In fact, on 13 March, the University of Eastern Piedmont will participate in the "Orientaday" event, organised in the Aula Magna in Via Ceretti, 23 in Domodossola from 9.30am to 5.30pm. During the day, UPO students, teachers and staff will be available to present the courses and the University's services at two stands, one general and one dedicated to the Nursing course held at the Verbania campus.

It will also be an opportunity to collect registrations for online sessions to learn more about individual study courses.
