The University promotes peer-tutoring activity, encouraging collaboration among university students. The University Careers Service fosters this activity, constructing contact opportunities between peers across all departments, not only for fresher students but throughout the university programme.
This student-student support relationship is an inclusive activity that helps freshers as they begin student life, enabling them to start their studies positively by preventing those feelings of isolation which can lead to students dropping out.
university students are selected for this initiative via an annual Call for part-time assistance and then trained for their initial-contact roles with freshers as well as activity of cooperative learning groups and peer-tutoring.
