In March, the third-year students of the Master of Science in Medicine and Surgery course at the Università del Piemonte Orientale will enter the wards. 100 students from the Novara campus and 47 students from the Alessandria campus will begin their training in the departments of Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Pneumology, Neurology and General Surgery. They will be supported by tutors and begin to take their first steps.

This fundamental moment in their careers was celebrated until last year in the White Coat Ceremony; the ongoing health emergency prevents the organisation of the event, which has now become a tradition for the University. For this reason, the event, which this year also involves the Alessandria branch of the course, will be held in the presence of students, but without the participation of the public.

In Novara it will be held in the Aula Magna of the Perrone Campus on Friday 26 February, from 12 noon to 2 pm; in Alessandria it will take place on Monday 1 March in the Aula Magna of the Hospital, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
