If you are a student (or member of staff) with special needs, you are entitled to additional funding as established by the EU Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (which regulates the Erasmus+ programme).

This is based solely on actual costs encountered and paid. You must, therefore, keep all receipts, bills, invoices and any other proof of payment that might be useful. For economic evaluation and any eventual awarding of funds, you must complete an estimated calculation of added costs.

To apply, you must complete the form “Self-declaration of disability” that can be downloaded from the “Forms and useful documents” section.

You can find all the relevant information in the database: “The Higher Education Accessibility Guide” (HEAG).

You may also find it useful to consult MappED, a project developed by ESN. This is a platform with an interactive map and app to help students with disabilities who participate in the Erasmus+ programme. The platform provides information on your rights, procedures, support systems, and access to university premises and other areas.
