The University policy on sustainability recently led to the establishment of the Interdepartmental Centre UPO4Sustainability, created for the purposes of advanced education, research and services in the field of economic, environmental, social and cultural  sustainability in individual and collective actions.

The Centre is dedicated to promoting the goals outlined in the 2030 United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development.
