If you are visiting our University, you will probably land at one of these airports: Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, Bergamo Orio al Serio, Torino Caselle.
The best way to reach Alessandria, Novara or Vercelli is to take a shuttle bus or a train from the airport to Milano Centrale Railway Station and to continue by train. There is a direct bus from Milano Malpensa to Novara.

By train
Novara and Vercelli are on the main Turin-Milan train line. There are “InterRegional” and “FrecciaBianca” trains that call at these stations. The first are cheaper and a bit slower, the second are more expensive and faster. There are trains at almost every hour from 5 am to 11 pm. The journey from Milan takes approximately one hour.
From Novara to Alessandria and v.v. there are trains which take approximately 1,5 hour.
You must validate your ticket before boarding the train.
