If you fall into one of the following categories, you may be entitled to exemption or discounted fees – in this event, please contact your Student Services Office.

Reduction in fees for “pure” freshers

“Pure” freshers are students who are enrolling for the first time ever on a university course. They automatically receive a reduction of up to € 100 on their fees (first instalment excluded) if they have achieved a mark of 90/100 or higher on their secondary school leaving certificate.

They can receive this reduction only by registering on an undergraduate or single cycle Master’s programme at the University in the academic year 2023/2024.

Reductions for academic credits acquired by 30 November 2023

On-track students who have acquired all academic credits set by their course programme for academic year 2022/2023 by 30 November 2023, may automatically benefit from a €150 reduction on their second instalment.

This discount is not offered to students who benefitted from dispensation or mere validation of previous exams; the sum of credits does not include those acquired for IT skills, language certification or international mobility.

Further support for the Right to Higher Education

Those who are registered on a scientific degree programme may be entitled to partial exemption, calculcated by the administration, from enrolment/registration tax, based on merit and income parameters established by the Ministry of Higher Education each year.

During the academic year there may be specific Calls or Notices regarding financial aid for deserving students in difficult economic situations due to unavoidable situations or serious events (partial exemption of fees may also be offered). The Calls are published in the section “Study Grants and Financial Assistance” (Borse di Studio e Agevolazioni). To take part in these Calls, you must apply for an ISEE statement within the stated deadlines.
