The quality indicators of the University allow appraisal of research activity carried out by UPO.

The allocation of a bonus quota by FFO, the ERQ (Evaluation of Research Quality commissioned by ANVUR), the Departments of Excellence, and the number of teachers and researchers deemed suitable for tenure, have all placed UPO at the top of many disciplines.

To maintain and improve these results, we have introduced measures to guarantee excellence (or the best quality possible) of research studies by teachers and researchers on national and international scales.

We will continue to monitor research studies also by means of the research portal of the university, IRIS (Institutional Research Information System) and the “Support System for Evaluation of Scientific Research) promoted by CRUI.
