If you are searching for an internship or traineeship abroad, contact your department’s work placement representative or the Work Placement Office in the Rector’s Department. The latter, in particular, organises guidance and educational workshops during the year that may be of assistance.

If you have already contacted a host company/organisation, contact directly the Work Placement representative of your department; if you do not yet have a contact, you can still check with the representative if there are any offers currently available. In the Job Corner of the DiGSPES , DiSEI and DiSUM libraries, you can find many magazines on the world of work and the handbook “Going Abroad”, which is packed with useful information and advice for your time in a different country.

You can also complete an internship abroad with the Erasmus+ Programme. You will receive a European-community payment for the internship, gain work experience and live in a foreign country, experimenting a new language and culture. You can also travel with the “Free-Mover” programme. For more information on these schemes, refer to the “Internationalisation” section.

Recent graduates can take part in the CRT Foundation Master’s initiative “Newly-graduated Talent Programme”. This allows you to complete an internship in leading companies on all five continents, receiving a study grant.
