The Rector of the Università del Piemonte Orientale, Professor Gian Carlo Avanzi, adopted new provisions in full compliance with prevention and safety protocols. Here you can find the new rules valid from April 19th, 2021 until the end of second semester.

1. class attendance resumes in presence up to a maximum of 50% occupancy of available classroom seats for students of all years (booking through the Upofrequency app or the UPO Planner portal). Lectures will be held by lecturers in classroom; lessons are simultaneously streamed live or made available remotely;

2. written and oral exams are held in person. Distance examinations are guaranteed for students unable to take them in person;

3. degree examinations are held in person. Distance examinations are guaranteed for students unable to take them in person;

4. the proclamations of degrees and diplomas are held in person;

5. laboratory, didactic or research activities (including theses and doctorates), experiential activities, lectures, development of prototypes and experimental systems take place in the classroom;

6. the training activities of doctors in specialist training and trainees in the health professions take place in the presence of the trainees,

7. internships and work placements within the university structures are carried out in presence;

Traineeships and internships for students and graduates from outside the University are carried out in a classroom environment in compliance with the prevention and safety protocols implemented by the organisations hosting the trainee or graduate;

9. library services are provided in presence for consultation and lending activities

10. study rooms are open;

11. students are received in person, by prior arrangement;

12. activities relating to master's and postgraduate courses take place in presence; if they have already been programmed, when the course was set up, by remote delivery, they can continue in this way.
