As of 1st September 2021, the Director General is Dr. Loredana Segreto.

A graduate with a Law degree (honours) from the University of Turin, Loredana Segreto pursued a career in her alma mater, working in top management from 2009 until very recently, firstly as an admin manager and then as General Manager. The breadth of experience gained in a career spanning over thirty years, in a context which has undergone profound institutional, organisational and administrative change, has allowed her to develop the most suitable skills for general management of a university and a strong sense of the social responsibility of public services. She is a member of the board for consortiums, foundations, supervisory and quality assurance bodies, and professional associations. She is also registered with the Italian ‘Order of Journalists’ as a freelance journalist.

According to guidelines issued by the Board of Directors, the General Manager is responsible for overall management and organisation of services, ancillary resources and the technical-administrative staff of the University, along with the tasks listed by Italian legislative decree no.165/01, art.16. His/her role does not extend to management of research and teaching activity.

His/her role and responsibilites are outlined in art.16 of the Statute.

The stand-in General Manager is Dr. Elisabetta Zemignani.
